About

Get it, together

There are communities for parents that focus on your kids and groups for work that support your career development, but they rarely intersect. Women deserve resources that acknowledge and help integrate both identities.

About The Grand

We’re named The Grand to reflect the need for community and resources to rise above the daily demands, gain clarity, and develop strategies to move forward with confidence and connection. We believe both your personal and professional life can strengthen rather than compete with each other. Membership gives people a space to be vulnerable and honest about real challenges and change we all navigate at work and at home. Together, we will feel less alone and can learn how to be the grandest version of ourselves.

Founded in 2019, we’ve been helping companies, VCs, and individuals become better, more empathetic leaders. Ambitious moms, it’s our turn.

Rei Wang

Hey there, I'm Rei Wang, Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at The Grand and a new mom. My journey spans from CEO of Dorm Room Fund at First Round Capital where I invested in hundreds of founders to Global Community Lead at General Assembly where I designed education products for thousands of students. Growing up across China, the UK, and the US taught me the value of belonging—a principle that now guides my work building inclusive communities. I live in the LA mountains with my partner, baby boy, and Saint Berdoodle.

Anita Hossain Choudhry

Hi! I’m Anita Hossain Choudhry, Co-Founder & CEO at The Grand, and mom to two daughters under 5. I’ve had a career across media, finance, venture capital as Head of Knowledge at First Round, and as an executive coach. I’m also a Wharton MBA. In all of these roles, I created meaningful communities where people could learn from each other, show up authentically, and build deep human connection. My love for community started when I was a kid traveling around the US performing bengali plays, and these days you can find me and my girls having nightly dance parties.

What we value

We Embrace Vulnerability

We believe in the power of vulnerability to transform our connections. When we share our authentic selves, we create a community where diverse perspectives flourish and collective wisdom surpasses individual insight.

We Listen With Our Whole Hearts

Our community gathers with intention and purpose. We ask meaningful questions, practice deep listening, and engage with each person as a complete human being—not just a role or title.

We Show Up For Each Other

We commit to being present—for ourselves and for one another. We build trust through consistent support, authentic engagement, and a shared dedication to helping each member of our community thrive.
